I was turned on to this product in the mid 90's. It had evinrude bomb de terre on the can. It was a spray anti corosian I asked for something that would protect battery terminals. The guy at Travis marine gave me it said it was the best. I cannot find the can I had. I have used it on every battery and never had a problem again. As far as I'm concerned it's the best and am wondering if it is still sold. That red spray [censored] has never lasted even 1 full year. Please help I need another can.

I have been using CRC products for heck I don't know but, years. This particular product works great in my opinion. I re-apply annually. If I were in a salt environment I would probably do it more often.

get the cleaner too, use it then the crc protector. I have been using it and some I got from oriellys and both have lasted me well into 9 months or more. you have to neutralize the acid before applying the protector if ya want it to last.

I use regular marine grease. I only redo them every three years when i replace the batteries weather they need it or not. Never had a battery connection problem in the last 16 years.

Will do with the cleaner also. That just makes cents I normally use bake soda/water combo and a brush but hey if spray works I'm game
