Has anyone ever spent time and fished the Southern side of Cuba? I will be moving there very soon and will have ample time to do some fishing. Mostly from the shore, but will have opportunities to get into a kayak and PB. Just wondering what I should bring w me as far as tackle. Also suggestions on line size, leaders, etc. I will be bringing 2 bait casters with me and most likely purchase another rod and reel combo down there. So far I have a bunch of topwater plugs in various colors, sizes, and rattle. Spoons of course, and various soft plastics that i typically use for reds and trout. I have never fished for snook, tarpon, bonefish, permit, cud's, or grouper and through research those will be my target fish. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated!!!! Heck, I assume the same baits and colors one would use in Key West would work too, so if you have insight there as well.
