Hey guys,

Me and a couple of buddies are going to head to Lake Alan Henry this weekend for my bachelor party. We don't really have enough time to go anywhere else since we only have Friday night and all of Saturday. I've fished there before, but have never really had much luck at that particular lake. Does anyone have any recommendations for lures to use or particular spots to fish? While it's really nice just being out on the lake, it'd be really nice to actually catch something there.

Thanks!

Shakey head or drop shot with a 4-6" finesse worm. It should catch you some spots and you can also throw a pop-r early and that can sometimes be a blast out there. Good luck.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'll give it a shot.

Fish early and late, AH is a Zoo on the weekends. The top water bite has been good early but is over about 7:30 for me.

Yeah, the pleasure boaters are out in force on the weekends. I wish they'd stay over by the dam, since that's a nice, big area. That's where we stay when we've got the tube out.
