Were about to get a small lake house property to serve as a getaway fishing and leisure spot. Which of these three would probably have the best bass fishing? We will be getting a bass boat, or at least customize a Jon boat. Which has the best bass fishing? I like a big fish but quanity is real fun if not more. So which lake is the best Tawakoni, fork, or pines?

The only thing I have with fork is that the fishing pressure is pretty high. But, maybe everyone fishes there for a reason. Anyone else?

I've only been to Fork once and fishing was off when I went. I would still choose Fork.
Any lake that produces fish like fork will get pressure. Go out and learn how to catch fish there. Get a guide if you need help. You would be missing out. If Fork wasn't over 11 hours from me I would go every weekend.

I would agree with those already stated. Get the cabin and go fishing during the week, huge difference between a Saturday and a Wednesday in terms of pressure.

Tawakoni would be more for catfishing, but the water level gets really low fast, wouldn't recomend it out here. Even with a lot of "pressure" Fork produces huge bass, as well as numbers.

when you compare property prices That might be the deciding factor!! I'd choose Pines because of the pressure on Fork, and the Crappie fishing on the pines. Plus you're only an hour away from Fork if you want a change. just my 2cents

If you need a realtor I know a good one!
