like any bass geek I love to throw frogs never make it out of wally world with out a bag of some mostly ribbit and they do catch fish but I have found with lots of trial and error you can make most soft plastic baits sit on top of grass and moss and sometime get a better reaction I like to crawl a weightless worm over the moss I also like to use craws lizards are great to I almost go to that before my frog just thought maybe this would help somebody out there I know frogs like the kvd sexy frog and spro frogs cost a lot especially for a bait you going to launch right into the weeds and under trees and a lot of us don't have the cash to lose 7 dollar lures its way less traumatic to lose a .50 cent plastic and you can buy a ton of worms that work good for me for like 4.89 they also throw in some dull hooks would not use those there my 2 cents.

All true, and I do fish weedless worms. But the frog is just so much more fun to fish. And I personally have caught more in a short period of time off of a frog than any other lure. During those peak times early and late in the day it is incredible.

Ribbit even has cheap top water floating plastic frogs out that are hollow bodied like the expensive ones... haven't used them but they exist. I sure do find a lot of the fancy floating frogs that people lose on the water though, in trees and stumps and other fun stuff... not sure why these people aren't throwing a top water bait on braid... ah well, more free scores for me.

Well I got some of those hollow body frogs you're talking about today took to this place I just started fishing again due to construction this is the place I taught myself how to fish soft plastics I put one of those frogs' on my regular worm hook I casted straight to the same spot I caught my first plastics fish let it just float for a few then give it two easy pops and the water swirls lightly about the time I notice the frog is gone I feel the pull I reel down and set and I know instantly this is the biggest bass I've ever hooked into when I get her were I can see her you all know the feeling its why we do thiss got her in and danced yelled fist pumped my new P.B so I'm working on prying this foot out of my mouth pic on my new frogs frogs post
