Ok I got both seals and a big o ring..What lube or sealant should I use on these once I start to install them? Any tips that will make the job easier or tips to just help in the process?

Grease the seals and put them in. Don't force anything and make sure you keep it clean. Oh and make sure you have plenty of adult beverages on hand so your friends can do all the work.

What kind of grease? Some told me me perfect seal?

Also I put new oil to see if I can tell where I'm leaking oil from and it looks like it's coming from the back side of the carrier housing and not from the prop shaft like I thought.So would this mean I have a bad o ring seal on the carrier or could this be something else?

omc used to make type m sealer don't know if that's still available from evinrude

RTV black gasket maker on the carrier "O"ring. Apply light coat just above the lock ring with a long screwdriver. I use Permatex aviation gasket sealer on the prop seals outside diameter. Scuff the shaft at the seal area with 6-800 grit sand paper.
