We did pretty good. Steve,Jeff,and myself boated 57 fish. 40 Keepers. Fish were by sunken timbers. Did not go up river. Jigs Chartreuse/black were the color of choice. 16 to 20 feet of water. Planing a night trip on Canyon the next couple of weeks.  Side Note; Canyon has been pretty good the last few months.

Thanks Curtis for the information.  Canyon has been pretty good for me also. Had a good winter /early spring bite.  Good luck on your night trip.  Side Note: Night fishing sure beats the HEAT!

Chuck and tommie the pleasure was mine..As many of hundreds of trips we have had, I know this was the first crappie for t bone on my boat..had to get a pic..placid is an Un tapped resource. ..Life is good and thank god for go go minnows from flefly...oh Jeff is onto something
