I wanted to congratulate my son Tristin Riddle on winning the Texas TBF Youth State Qualifier Tournament this last weekend. He will represent Texas at the JWC in South Carolina this August. This tournament is held in conjunction with the Forrest Wood Cup. I can't tell you how proud I am on his accomplishments in the last two years, but this one is the awesome. Keep up the dedication and respect you have for the sport and you will do great.

No small accomplishment there. Congratulations, Tristin! Go get 'em at the World Championship!

One more thing.... To those that read this post and do not know much about the junior and high school anglers fishing out there. These young men and women can flat out fish, especially in a tournament situation. These youth tournaments are extremely competitive, and these youth are fishing on a different level than many experienced anglers. This is what makes this sport grow and ensures a future to Bass fishing. Pay attention to these youth, like Tristin, because in the near future we will see and compete with them on the big tournaments...

Congratulations, Tristin!! I was lucky enough to qualify for the 2004 Junior World Championship representing New York. It was held in conjunction with the Classic then, but man it is an amazing experience he and your family will carry forever. Take lots of pictures! Congrats again!
