 crystal beach bait shops and types of bait

i am looking to do some surf fishing from crystal beach and was wondering where to buy bait and what type bait to use.

There are 3 bait shops at or near Rollover Pass. You can use mullet, stingray, squid, shrimp or crab for bait. It all depends on what you're fishing for. What are you looking to catch and what kind of gear are you using?

i have some heavy duty spinning gear with nine foot rods and #50 braid. not sure what to expect as far as to catch. we have a house rented on the beach off of west lane and would like to surf fish there depending on the grass. not sure where rollover pass is from there. have five year old grandson so terrain needs to be fairly safe. thanks
