I personally don't care what I look like. As long as it keeps me out of dermatologist and the scalpel. That $@#! is expensive to take out. Many trips back and forth. Grandpa did pass that one tid bit of advise to me.....

Chris I were fishing a large dock in a creek we basically had to ourselves in Bass Champs at Cedar Creek last month. We were a good ways back in the creek and had caught a couple of dinks off the dock so we were fishing it as thorough as we could. We hear a boat coming in on us and right away we both are thinking they are coming in to cut us off as they are headed towards us. They stop and ask if we minded if they hit the part of the dock we had already fished since they were crappie fishing. Both of us appreciated the fact they asked at least so we said sure. Before we could blink they went to smoking the crappie on that dock. Literally got bit in just seconds. All 3 were wearing the Buffs, white shades and flat brim hats. You would have sworn they were bass fishermen if you ran up on them but these were hardcore crappie ninjas... rolfmao

+1

Been wearing a Buff and sun gloves for several years. Benefits far outweigh any negatives.

Hahaha. They new what they were doing!

I've never been a fan of things hindering my breathing/movement (tight clothing), but I've been looking at them and will be buying one. The Doc said I need one. So as much time as I spend on the water, I guess I better get one. Thanks for posting this. I'll be soaking it all in.

Bought one last weekend and used it down at the coast. I feel that it kept me cooler, when I took it off I would get hot, plus I didn't get burned.

Sun hitting skin does make you hotter.

You don't seem Arabs walking around in shorts and short sleeves.

Mine keeps me cool and keeps the sun off of my neck, ears, and nose. I'd refer it to anyone !

Wide brim hats are great but use caution relying on these alone. They don't block the UV rays bouncing off the water, especially when it's calm.

The Frog Togg "chilly" towels are great for keeping you cool in addition to the sun blocking products.

I've been told the reflection is worse than the sun...it's amplified. Like a Magnifying glass in the sun.

I probably won't like them to Doushie...JK But I imagine the hot breath thing would be a deal breaker for me. I try and use sunblock often though.
