Had Bob Mcarthy and son Terrance today. Got rough and we quit early. Caught 48 kept 41 for a fry.
Nearly all caught jigging a chartuese and white ole ugly straight up and down. Took quite awhile to figure it out today. Seems like every day is different. When we quit it sure would blow your dress up.

So do you think dragging the old uglies through the mud is over? I have been waiting for the vertical jigging on the humps to kick in. I am practicing for the weekend trips tomorrow. Hope it pays off.

Johnny it was good seeing you this morning at the ramp. glad you finally figured out the bite. as I told you fishdog and I went to upper part of lake. ended up with 5 sandies, 2 cats 5 & 6 lbs, and 15 blacks 2 to 3 1/2 lbs. had a great trip and really got soaked coming in with wind and white caps. off the water at 1:00 pm.

Don I am not real sure about anything this year. Everytime I think I have something figured out

Shallow but you can use if you have somebody with you to keep out of the shallows while you park your truck.
