 Texoma Battle Scars ???

Does anyone know why these striper are so beat up? I am purely guessing that is a fight over a mate. Most people fight over booze, money or women. Since stripers don't have $$ and I have never seen one at a bar, I'm guessing it is from spawning territory battle scars. Ideas??? Tossed back! Already had limit of overs and wouldn't have kept them even if I didn't. Around 24" Taken 5-16-14 when they were spawning more.  
I feel more like I do now than I did when I first got here!

These are the talon marks from the CrazyBlue Kucklebird! This bird is native to Grayson County. I have seen these Blue Giants at Hidden Acres Cabins!
