Looking for a good spot to bank fish for channel cats this weekend.
Thought I'd hit the rocks by the old dam on LL, tomorrow night, or Saturday morning but looking for suggestions. Planning to chum an area with range cubes and then put some Stubby's Cheese Bait out & let it do it's thing.
Really haven't had much luck finding them last few outings, so I'm open to suggestions.
Quite honestly, my fear is that if I don't come home with some fish this time, the wife will be making me Stubby's Grilled Cheese Sandwiches for dinner, and well, nothing against Stubby personally, but I'd kind of rather not see things deteriorate to that point.

I caught over 40 yesterday on Ray Hubbard with Sudden Impact. Have never used Stubbys but will next time I need some. Have heard nothing but good things. I am a poor boy so gotta use what I got.

Haven't fished Ray Hub, but have heard good things happening by the Rowlett Road bridge. It's not close to me but sounds like it might be worth the trip.

They are spawning right now off the rip rap rocks. Try bobber fishing about 3-5 foot close to the rocks, any rocks.

Channels are definitely in the shallows right now in numbers.
