In general, myself and a few others have regarded it as one of the toughest water bodies in the area to fish... I have been out there with lots of people and none of us have ever had what would be considered a "great day" fishing... I won't say there is every a bad day fishing, but definitely no great ones had there for me or my friends.

Surely a promising fishery as part of OWR with TPWD Share A Lunker program... given that 6yr old SAL offspring have hit 10lb or so and the lake entered the program in 07 or so... I think the baitfish population is weak there form electrofishing/gill netting reports though so not sure how well they thrive there... then again maybe I just use these as very scientific reasons why I suck there? Who knows... but I stink at fishing there personally haha

Carlos was out there Sunday evening also, I had no idea, they were every where. As you said blocking ramp and there had to be 20 on the dock, Is there anything we can do about that. Just curious?

Was out there Sunday evening myself. That was ridiculous. I can't believe that Game wardens, Police, or other agencies allow that. There must have been 100 people scattered across the ramps, dock, etc...

They had EZ pop up shelters up right next to ramp grilling, music, etc....

It was freakin ridiculous. An accident will happen soon if the TRWD, GW's, or Police don't do something. I can't blame those folks too much. We have all these lakes around and no public beaches. EM should have a BIG public beach.

Funny everyone talks about how bad the ramp is with people. Went Monday and when i put in at 530 I was the only vehicle in the parking lot. Most Thursdays there are 2 or 3 boats trailers and a few bank fisherman. We have not had a problem at all with the ramp.

As for the fishing. There are plenty of fish in the lake. They are not easy to catch but with some work keepers can be caught.
