Can you explain what you are describing - they bulldozed some trees? Where on the lake?

The lake is low and they came in and bulldozed all the cover around the bank, really screwed up the fishing.

This. Lots of grass and bulldozed trees under water. There's also a big tree in the middle of the lake thats 30 ft deep. I would start there.

So is the lake stained right now since they have been pumping in water? I haven't been in a year and was thinking about going this week

Hate to hear about any of that

Sounds like they want to cater to the bank fisherman

Lake was thick full of grass/hydrilla. We caught around 15 and missed a lot more all on plastic worms.

I was there 2 weeks ago and it was very stained but it didn't slow the fishing any for us and we never really fished the banks at all - they are pumping water in from the paluxy (sp?) river caught 7 in about 5 hours - nothing huge but caught a smallmouth which was my goal since it was my first trip there so I was happy

What is the ramp like there? Can you launch and load a full sized bass boat? I understand that the entire lake is a no wake zone.

Ramp is good, yes you can launch a full size boat. if you don't live in Sommerville county get ready to dish out $25, and an additional $8 for every additional person with you thereafter. So if you go with a friend, it will cost you $33 to get in.
