I don't know about y'all, but I'm excited to see how this new format shakes out for this tourney.
We've got the following Texas BASS Opens guys fishing in this against the Elites:
Brian Clark Steve Sennikoff Tommy Durham Jeff Cloud James Biggerstaff
I like BASS shaking things up and adding this format. I'm betting though that the top 50 guys making the day 3 cut and have to not fish that day are going to be going bonkers. Maybe they'll enjoy a day off at the expo, who knows. On the flip side, of the other 90 that have the 1 day fish off, and qualify for the next day, could be fishing hard for 5 straight days, that will make things interesting.

Anyone know how the Open guys were selected? Not disagreeing, just curious.

Top 20 from each of the three Opens tours points as of a certain date were invited. The first 33 in points that committed got in, I believe.
Coincidence is His way of remaining anonymous.

You see those Johnson trolling motors? We had one on my Dads Venture. But..... A flasher on the front? Now THAT was high speed!

Awesome lake! Should be neat to watch.

Open your eyes & look within, are you satisfied with the life youre living.
No matter how good or bad you have it, wake up each day thankful for your life. Someone somewhere else is desperately fighting for theirs.

I'm pulling for Ott Defoe, it's his home state and he has done well on Tennessee waters. It's going to take some big weights to win it for sure.
