I saw an endcap display of them at walmart, was considering trying one but they didn't have a price on them.

Hmmmmm.....well, having made me wait for this long and now they show up at Walmart! I 'per-ordered' and I don't even get my lures ONE DAY before they show up at the retail stores! This is pretty bad business practices. Some 'customer loyalty'! Any company that does business like this should be exposed for the way they conduct their 'business'! They just lost any business I may have had with them!
They sure better hang on to the $ I spent with them, they will be the LAST!!
God Bless

Bad business! Just so ya'll will know. IMO, beware...no ethics whatsoever! Wonder what the readers of Bass Masters will think of this? Think I may pass this along to them as well.

I'd be mad too if I pre ordered a bait, they took as long as they did to receive, and cost what they do. For they price they should have had them in your door step in two-three business days. Don't advertise and hype up a product if you can't get it to the consumer in a timley manner.

The ones at wal mart are their older models. You can't get the howler in stores yet. I saw academy started carrying them too. I bought quite a few and all I have caught I a hybid on them, not impressed

Ordered in MARCH, received in June AND apparently retail stores received theirs at the same time. per-ordering with this company means NOTHING! Check with Walmart and others....Really P.O.'d me. Thanks for your 'customer loyalty' in my ordering and getting my order the SAME TIME?? Really good business practices ....NOT!!
Thought ya'll should know God Bless

I pre-order baits all the time and most of the time the manufacturers are late supplying them, it happens all the time. I pre-ordered over $350 worth of Fat John's from TW and they were almost 6 months late getting them from Spro. I didn't see much point in getting upset about it since they could not ship me what they didn't have and they wound up compensating me for the wait. I guess it just depends on who your pre-ordering from because I believe BP had them on the shelves before TW did.

I'm fairly new at this and this is the first time I have 'pre-ordered' a fishing product. I did so with only ONE EXPECTATION: To be among the first to get and use a product. I was a 'customer'. WAS! A company only stays in business because of 'customers'. If that business offers a 'pre-order', there is an expectation to reward that 'customer'. But, this is all my opinion as a customer and a fisherman. IMO....Lousy way to treat and maintain your business and customers! God Bless

Succumbed to the hype, (so embarrassed ) bought two square bills. No amount of tuning would keep those pieces of junk from rolling over and surfacing on a retrieve. Total junk.

Went to fishing university last year, speakers included Randy Howell,Kevin short, G-man, IKe and one of the things the all said is any time a tournament is won on a "prototype" or "not released" bait meant they are throwing another brand that they are not sponsored by, Found this funny when Howell won the classic on a "prototype" maybe the long bait was due to the fact that they had to design and R&D a bait from scratch

First to have them or not, having to wait 3 months for a pre-ordered bait is beyond unreasonable.
