Hi All,

I bought a boat last weekend and will be taking it out for the maiden voyage tomorrow afternoon. I have been out by boat on Ray Hubbard once before (BlueTuna - Terry was kind enough to take me out when I first moved here a couple years ago). I am aware of the low water and all the stumps in the water, will definitely be taking it pretty slow. We are planning to get out there late afternoon (around 4) and fish until close to dark possibly breaking to eat an early dinner over at the Rockwall Harbor. Really hoping to get in some white bass/hybrids tomorrow but will be happy to get some rods bent with whatever we can. From the forums, it looks like the fishing has been a little spotty at Hubbard lately but would like to find some fish schooling on top of the water if we can. Would love to hear from y'all whats been working lately, feel free to PM me as well. My wife, my buddy and I will be out in an 18 foot Sea Ark and launching with my red F-150 - stop by and say hello if you see us.

Jordan

Good luck! I had lots of action in the shallows by Robertson last Wednesday night. 7:30 till about complete dark. Lots of magnum sandies and a few hybrids schooling. Think I'll be out on lavon tomorrow morning. Let us all know how you do!

Good luck. Be very careful. The danger is lurking right under the water line. Blue Tuna will point you in the right direction tomorrow.

I was out on the lake early before the wife called and told me to get off the lake before the storm came. Mihn was still out there catching fish when I left.

Welcome to the boat club Jordan. Terry is a good guy and knows the lake. The Harbor and bps docks are dried now so you cant dock to eat. Fyi. I canceled my trip this morning also because of rain and five kiddos in the boat. Will be on vacation Tuesday so good luck guys.

Thanks for the heads up Todd, I was not aware that those docks were dry - my pregnant wife would not have liked that surprise! Hope to see some of y'all out there weather permitting

Glad someone already warned you about the harbor dock. Inches of water around it. Not safe.

If you didnt go out this evening, you missed out. Same location, same time. Hybrids and sandies schooling, catch to your hearts content.

Took the girlfriend out to put her on some topwater action, she had a blast! Between both of us in an hour and a half, boated around 30 sand bass and 15 hybrids. Threw almost all back, only kept the 3 largest hybrids for some fish tacos tomorrow. Awesome day on the water and perfect conditions woot

Sandies make great tacos and they reproduce like rabbits.
