the best way to get to trail 7 is to follow the signs for little petes then instead of taking a right to go to the marina take a left to get to trail 7

the cliffs are pretty easy to get to go through the 4 way stop I just mention by following the signs to the marina you will go about 200 yards and see a brick building on your left its restrooms and a road on your right take that right and then take you first left all the way down to the parking lot with trees in it park there and head towards the marina the point the faces the marina all the way back to about even with the parking lot are the cliffs...hope this helps

I think the cliffs is a better spot for catfish then Trail 7. I haven't heard of anyone catching cats from Trail 7, though I'm sure they are there.

You can catch a few from Trail 7, but not the same quanitity or quality that you will get from the cliffs.

ANyone fish shad or big cat bait at the cliffs? The whole area looks like it'll produce some big cats, big buffs, and sandies.

I've fished perch a few times on rod and reel but not long enough to really do it justice. I've caught nice cats on a trotline over to the left of the simmons boat ramp too. Shad for bait.
