Caught this one Friday afternoon, closed to 6#, I think. I don't have ruler or scale with me, and my car was parked far away. I don't want to kill this beauty, so after few pictures, I let it swimming away.

Thanks all my friends.
I was fishing lake Texoma, targeting stripers. Fished few spots without any bites, until this beauty struck my lure. it was a very good fight, she jumped few times, did not want to give in. I had to be really careful to reel her in. It was a bless!
The spot where I caught her was new to me. I used home made top water lure to fool around. Next time I may try some other lures to figure out the bottom structure.

Home made top water lure, caught lot fishes with it, fresh water and salt water.  congrats .. is that a top water spook ? topwater in the afternoon .. awesome.

Hi Brian, water level is so low. No water releasing, this year's fishing will be bad at the dam.
