I ended up meeting a friend out there and fished from the bank. Lots of little fish out there right now. At first I couldn't get any hook sets, so 3 hours into the trip I switched to a smaller circle hook and caught 5 in a row. 4 channels and 1 blue. The blue went 6.98lbs.
I'll try and post the pics but I'm not great with that kinda stuff.
