possum kingdom for red bull event....should be an adventure...hopefully get away from the drunks and get some good fishin in sunday morning while they are all sleepin off the hangovers...

Haven't decided fully yet. Likely depends on the wind. Leaning either toward Lake Worth launching form Arrow Park or the FW Nature Center. Haven't been on LW yet so might try that. Reports by Onebadjj and Bulletcatcher on LW have gotten me excited about trying that lake. If it is windy, could just head up to the Nature Center. I am not an early riser, be on the lake by 6:00 kinda person so looking to be on the water by 8:00 to 8:30. Maybe earlier. There is a canoe tour up the West Fork for up to 12 participants at the Nature Center at 8:30 Saturday morning so that means getting launched earlier than that to miss the crowd if I go there...or else going Sunday. If anyone is interested in hooking up for either of those locations on Saturday or Sunday I would enjoy the company (and even the expertise which I lack). Third option is to head down the road close to where i live to the north end of Benbrook and fish near the dam. strong south winds and the Benbrook Dam = trouble. I wouldn't risk that. It can get to white capping out there in a hurry. That being said I will more than likely stick to some part of the good ol local Trinity to stay out of the wind. hte bass have been obliterating buzz baits early in the day and spinnerbaits and other techniques have worked after that! I figured as much. I have had trouble with my bass boat at times down there in the chop. At most I might consider hanging in the cove by the marina on the north end that is more protected. I was told there is a hole west of the dam in the cove that can be fished from shore that holds crappie. Since it is just down the road from me, its an easy alternative to try when time is limited. Or down the road a bit to Mustang Park. Chisolm Trail opening up will make it a quicker drive. Lake Worth may have similar issues if it is windy. But most likely the Nature Center on Saturday. Just need to make sure I get launched before the canoe tour.

North Lakes in Denton if anyone wants to join Saturday morning. I can't Saturday but maybe Sunday. Let me know if you go Sunday too. How is North Lakes in Denton? I've never been.

i did great waco high water levels have lead to all this flooded grass the frog bites is great. best one i got last weekend
