Do you run only 2D on trolling motor on these Gen 2 or Touch Graphs?
Anyone using the New Lowrance Spotlight transducer? ?

I have 9t and run the HDI transducer on the TM. I get both 2d and Downscan. You can read up from the guys on Bassboatcentral.com for reviews on Spotlight. From what I can tell, not very impressed because it's so dependent on turning the TM left & right to get a clear picture and your foot pedal has to be really steady/fluid motion to get a clear picture.

I just bought a touch 9 it is hooked up to a 2d transducer and an lss1 transducer. I can't afford spotlight scan just yet.

Now that the spotlight transducer is available, I think you can get it with your new Touch. It is a nice mount and provides 2D and spotlight as well as downscan from one small transducer. I'm not sold on the spotlight yet and may never be for the reasons Mr Dawson listed above. The only problem is you don't have sidescan with the spotlight transducer package, if that is important to you.
So, the LSS is $300 and spotlight is $500, only an additional $200 so why not?
