I bought a spinning rod about a month ago...I've used braid on it mostly with liters. The braid has eaten into the last eye Insert and exposed a another metal piece that appears to be in plastic insert. Every time I tie up it cuts my line  Other than that the rod has been good....I would think they tested these in the field awhile or something?

Haven't had that problem with the 2 spinning rods I have. They stand behind their stuff - I broke a MH 7'3" on a hookset & 10 days from the day I shipped it back, I had a new one plus a new cap. Give them a shout at their customer service number.

I love mine! Guy here broke 3 within 10 min of taking out rod tube though. Damage during shipping. They took awesome care of him

Zero problems with mine. I've also had two that ran strictly braid 65lb braid and they never cut the guides. I've broke a tip insert which was my fault from stabbing the ceiling.
