Headed to good 'ol Ray Rob have not heard about anything happening there for a while.. anybody got any news? Where is the best place to launch this time of year..

I wouldn't go on Saturday unless you like fishing in a Bass Champs crowd.
Jordan, Isle du Bois, Pond and Sanger ramps are all good

Bass champs is this weekend, I'm staying away. was out last weekend, buddy stuck an 8lb. everyone we talked to was pitching timber, saw 5lber get pulled out of timber on a pop-r.

I fished there today and can't catch any thing. Have only caught one keeper in the last four trips. The only thing I am good at is hitting stumps.

We went Saturday and fished the trees in Clear Creek. My yak bud stuck a 5lbr with black red swim jig. I got broken off once and lost a couple in the timber. I was using shakey head with black blue worm

HAD A CLUB TOURNEY ON SUNDAY IT TOOK 14+ TO WIN. HAD 2 NICE FISH WEIGHED ONE OVER 8 AND 1 A HAIR SHY OF 7 BOTH SKINNEY BIG HEADS. WE HAD A 4.66 FOR OUR BIGGEST ALL THE BIG ONES CAME ON SMALL OFF COLORED 1.5 CB ANYWHERE FROM ROCKS TO BACK SIDE OF ISLAND TIMBER. LOTS OF PREFISHING FOR THIS WEEKEND SO RAMP WAS JAMMED USED JORDAN PARK RAMP MIDDLE 2 LANES OPEN SIDE 2 CLOSED

I wont the 2 day ABA this past weekend, had 13.80 lbs on Sat. and 7.64 lbs on Sunday. Fishing was tough after the first 2 hours. Saw several guys catching bass on various methods.

Bass N Bucks on Sunday 20lbs for first and 19lbs was 2nd.

Went out Friday afternoon for awhile and put it too them on a Xcite sexy blue back herrin square bill crank bait. Had one right at 10 Lbs and several right around 4-5 Lbs.

Went yesterday...early morning bite was hot in the shallow grass. Had a 7.5lb, 4.5lb, & 3lb in the boat on first 10 casts. Medium diving shad CB crawled over tops of grass in 3.5-5ft of water. A few casts later with a big swimbait, hooked the biggest fish I've ever seen on my line. It was 10+ if it was a pound. Didn't have drag set right, poor hook set...she lept & threw the bait. SICK FEELING! After the morning bite it slowed. A fish here and there flipping timber on deep channel bends.

Deep water early morning bite is really good The last time I followed this type of report, it was decoded as: "Topwaters in 6 inches of water after midnight". LOL
