That used to happen on one of my uncles ponds and it was full of catfish

I used to dove hunt at this stock pond. One time I winged a dove and it landed in the water. It flopped around for about a minute and the I saw a MASSIVE catfish eat it. After that I saw it happen 3 more times over that season. It really sucked when I had to swim out and collect the dead birds in the water after every hunt. My uncle thought it was funny to see me swimming so fast. I was terrified that catfish was gonna eat me. . .

For those of you who have seen Glen Lau's "Bigmouth" documentary, there was the scene where Glen got the shot of the bass hitting the duck. The underwater footage was amazing with the duck pushing on the bass's mouth with both web feet trying to get it's head out of the big girls mouth. Eventually it did.

For those of you who have seen Glen Lau's "Bigmouth" documentary, there was the scene where Glen got the shot of the bass hitting the duck. The underwater footage was amazing with the duck pushing on the bass's mouth with both web feet trying to get it's head out of the big girls mouth. Eventually it did.  about 1 minute into this clip GlenLauVid it starts showing the 3 ducks swimming - about 20 seconds later is where it happens. Awesome 70s soundtrack for the background!
