 How do you start a high school bass club

I'm fixing to be a freshman in high school and we don't have a bass fishing club(team). Was just wanting to know how i could a club started at my school, does anybody know how to get the ball rolling, or know who to i need to get a hold of to get this started? Thanks!!!

The principal at my son's school laughed when he asked about starting a bass club. She told him that they only allowed clubs if there was an educational benefit. I hope that you have better luck.

If you watch the video under join saf now, and start a saf club it tells you how it is educational.

Sounds like she needs to be talked to, Education in Fishingq 1. You will learn to read and study GPS Maps and use of sonar 2. You see the things at the lake you don't see in town and see how they react (watching wildlife come to the bank to feed and stuff) 3. You learn the different technics of lures and how fish react to them I could go on and on, No Educational Benefits huh !!!!!

I started the one in Huntington im a senior there this year. I started it my sophomore year its not hard. google highschool bass fishing it should pop up something to do with the blf or flw that's what most of the clubs are through there is a SETX region go to SETXhighschoolfishing.com there should be some numbers of some people you can get in contact with.

If you want to join the Setxfishing league you will need to go to highschoolfishing.org and join. Once you do that you will need to get a member of your school (advisor) to help. After you get set up you only need 4 kids to start. Contact Brian or Ted on the setxhighschoolfishing site and they can walk you through it.
