Last couple of years the API down here had about 40 teams.. This year they have opened it up to the general public and I expect the turnout will be somewhat higher..
Fun tourney to fish with lots of food and drink a Calcutta and cookoffs etc..
Always a good time..

API is an acronym for American Petroleum Institute.. This group is the Border Chapter of Laredo.. They raise a lot of money for scholorships and the like this weekend..

Thirty one pounds to win it.. Six fish.. Not too bad for fishing in a hurricaine. Big bass was a 9.97.
