Hello to all,

I am new to this forum. I am on THF and Classic Mako forums though.

Just wanted to drop in and introduce myself. My name is Glenn and I live in Houston.

The wife and I have a place in Port O Connor and we keep our boat there as well.

It appears that there are a lot of nice folks on here.

Looking forward to being a part of this forum

Out of curiosity, How many people on here frequent POC ?

hi and welcome. i get to POC a couple times a year. we try to do it during the week to beat the crowd, but sometimes it's for a tournament and it has to be saturday.
best boat i've ever owned was a 72- 17' mako. only reason i sold it was to buy a bigger boat(too many grand kids for a 17' boat)

Welcome to TFF welcome

My folks owned the Port Motel there for about 20+ years. I live in Houston.

I lived there for several years. Now, the wife and I have a place there and go down about twice a month.

Maybe we'll meet up one day.

Tight lines and singing drags !

Welcome to TFF. Great folks a few old jokes and alot of nice boats lol. I live in Waco but am starting to venture south into the Texas coastlines to try my luck. Just surf fishing though.

Thanks to all for the warm welcome.

@J.StoneRepairs

Lots of good wade, surf and pier fishing along the coast from Galveston to South Padre Island.

Just be careful when you're in a pass such as San Luis Pass the current in these passes can be very strong and have swept many people away. Use caution in these places and always be aware of the surroundings and conditions.

Good luck and tight lines !
