Cedar Creek fishermen and residents:
A dear family friend of ours left his house on a jet ski Saturday afternoon and never returned home. The jet ski and his life jacket were found that evening mid-lake off of Paradise Bay. The Game Warden searched the area until late last night - they will resume first thing Sunday morning.
If you are on the water today, please be aware this search is underway and please keep an eye out for anything out of the ordinary. If you have anything to report, call the Henderson County Sheriff, who is helping coordinate the investigation. Their number is (903) 675-5128.
Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers.

Nothing so far. The underwater search today has focused tightly on the area the jet ski was discovered but no news to report.

I was out there last night and saw Many boats
and Game Wardens,didnt know what was going on,Prayers

Bob George of Dallas, orthodontist, grandfather. He and sons all attended Lake Highland HS in Dallas. I watched all day Sunday as the GW boats searched the area. Very,very sad. A Coast Guard auxiliary guy patrolling the search area on Sunday told me the boat was found running and the life jacket was attached to the boat by the kill switch lanyard. I was out on my jet ski near Don's Port Saturday afternoon before I learned of this situation and the winds were calm but the lake was pretty rough with rogue boat waves. I feel for his family, friends and patients and also for the game wardens and others who were out there all day Sunday handling the grim task of searching for him. http://movetolakehighlands.com/lake-high...dar-creek-lake/
