All,

Son has a baseball tourney June 6th weekend in La Grange and a slim opportunity to possibly sneak away in evening to attempt to bank fish at Fayette county reservoir.

Is there any spots people suggest, lures, etc, and is there any real chance on that lake. It has been decades since I have been there but only on boat.

OR is there any places in that area to bank fish? For example, he is playing at fairgrounds one day and last time I was there saw a pond.

any help appreciated.

Thanks,
mcallister

Take the nature trail at the entrance of Oak thicket park and follow it to the end,(next to the shore line). when it ends follow the deer trail along the shore line and you will find spots to fish. Its a hike and wooded but well worth it.
good luck and good fishing!

Thanks for the information Twister. I live about an hour away and have been interested in bank fishing Fayette. Follow the deer trail, that's classic. I bet it's well marked, LOL!!
