Howdy guys, looking for some help with my ski boat.

Got stranded tonight and towed back in because the boat wouldn't start. When I turn the key, the alarm sounds but the boat won't start. Doesn't even attempt to engage the starter. I'm thinking something to do with the throttle not reading that it's actually in neutral or something so it won't start. Anyone got any other ideas that I should start with?

Thanks for any help.

I'd start at the starter itself, have someone hit the ignition and test the starter for voltage, if it's not getting power then move back to the solenoid/relay if nothing there start looking at switches.

Bout to go back out there and mess around with it more, so I'll do more testing. Tried playing with kill switch, throttle control, and checking for loose wires but didn't find anything. I have a test light that I'll go check some wires with in a few minutes.

It's a Glastron SX 195 with the Volvo Penta 5.0

Spent a lot of time with it and I'm pretty sure the starter has just locked up. Getting power to the starter but it's just not moving. If ya tap the starter with a hammer while turning the key, it will barely move but not much.
