I'm a crappie fisherman, but want to catch some kitties. My question to you cat fishing experts is should I be able to catch some channels from the bank at Weatherford? Is the late afternoon/evening bite good for spawning channels?

No fish in Weatherford! Hitting the wall in the evening or early morning will usually turn up a few kitties with me. I am a fan of sureshot prepared bait. You can also get shad and sunfish in Weatherford which is always worth a try. Might get lucky and get a flathead out of there.

Thanks oleanarey87, Think I'll try the the dam somewhere (I'm really guessing where to go) to get some spawning channels next Sunday evening.
