I doubt very seriously if a low life like them will read this, but it at least helps me vent my crappie fishin' spleen and maybe someone else will benefit from my experience.

Somewhere between midnight and dawn, someone came onto my boathouse and stole all my rods and reels, my tackle boxes, gear bags and I don't know what else yet. Didn't take my electronics. Yes the gear room was unlocked, but has always been. No cameras. Yep, pretty much cleaned me out of the fishing business until I re-gear. I know they are only things, but they included probably 50 old lures that belonged to my deceased father - lures that were very serviceable, but can't be replaced.

So here is my message to all thieves: You better stay sneaky, because if I'm up and I see you, you'll get a big surprise including your boat motor blowing up with a 5.56 hole through the head and holes stitched down the water line until I run out of ammunition. You better be able to swim fast and underwater because then I will be after you. But, don't worry too much about those rounds hitting the water next to your head; I don't miss . . . much!

God will judge you, but it is a pretty low thing to steal from anyone.

There I'm finished. Sorry to all my Forum friends for eating up space here, but I know you understand. BTW, BOLO 3 Wally Marshall Crappie rods with Spidermite reels, 2 BnM jig poles, and about 20 other various and sundry Shimano, Shakespeare, Cabelas, BassPro, Daiwa and Mitchell rigs. And, if you see someone with a brown plastic Plano tackle box with Herb's Dillys, Long A's, Heddon Chuggers, etc. or an old red folding Creme Worm pack, they may be mine.

Really sorry to hear this. I agree with you...thieves are about the lowest forms of life in our communities. I'll be keeping an eye out in our area of the lake, flat crk. Which part of the lake is your boathouse? I've got a couple spare B&M Westpoint jigging poles if you need a little help getting back into fishing, just pm me..

Thanks, J, but I found a couple of my long ones they didn't get. I shouldn't be so melodramatic. I'll just start picking them up one her and there on sale. But I appreciate so much your offer.

Dumb assesss, if they only knew!

Hey buddy, I'll post up next to you and be your spotter and call windage for you just the same as we did on that coyote.

I know you and they should know, it's not over!

I have a stack of new 10 footers in the garage, I bring you a couple and we can go scouting around and do a little fishing.

They will be judged and they better hope it's not by you first.
Dam the luck on their poor soles.

Thanks, Killa. I really look forward to fishing with you again. Did really well Wednesday dodging thunderstorms.

We need stricter punishment of criminals if this is ever to stop. The punishment is so light for stealing it pays to be a thief for those with no moral upbringing, as very little happens to the thief when caught stealing.

Were your electronics readily available to them? If yes, then it sounds as if it might have been teenagers instead of adults who stole your equipment. It seems as if adults would have stolen the electronics if they saw them while teenagers would care more for the fishing gear.

They got six rods from the boat and about 15-20 out of the gear room. Yes electronics were in plain sight. You may be right. You may be right about the age group. I have little confidence in recovery of the property, but, I will be doing a little criminal intelligence analysis on this type of offense. Killa got it right.

That's close to me too. Hate to hear we got snakes running around again. I'll keep an eye open for those night maneuvers. Thank Joe.

Friend of mine had his equipment stolen and the idiot thief put them on Craig's list. Got the sheriff involved and stung him in a Walmart parking lot selling the stuff. Friend got most of his stuff back. Thief got jail time. Keep an eye out because this guy didn't steal to go fishing. He needs money.
