Coleto Creek is full of grass and lots of jet skis and play boats this time of year, but you can pull some nice fish out of it. I got several last trip on a lizard , what I call weightless c rig, 10" leader with a swivel, let it sink to the grass and rip it out let it sink in again.

but Choke has bigger fish and a lot of em. Lots of places to bank fish also, and cat fishing is great there as well. Just watch the gators!

Coleto also just got a huge water level jump, 2 ft up from the last rain, so the shallow water bite should be awesome. IF you are going there hope you have a boat, not a lot of bank fishing area.
