The bite on Fork this week has been touch and go for me, but today it seemed to be back on. We had 2 overs going 8 and 8 1/2. Here are a few pics and a report for y'all.





Here is one I caught the other day.


The water temp is 75 to 80 degrees and I have been fishing main lake points, humps and road beds in 20 to 25 foot, throwing a carolina rig with a fluke on a 6 foot leader and a 1 oz weight with a #3 rigging hook.

I have also been throwing a drop shot with a #1 hook and 5/16 oz weight with about a 20 in leader, with a 4 inch zoom fineness worm on it. And some 10 XD's in shad colors.

If you were on fish last week they are still there, just may be a little harder to catch due to all the bait that's out deep right now. Just work your spot over really hard and you should be able to pick a few up. I hope this helps y'all guys that are coming out to Fork this weekend to fish the tournament or just fun fishing!

Great report Eric and you're spot on. It's been hit or miss for me on Fork lately. Fishing a hump nothing come back 2 hours later smoke em. What we need is about a week of 90+temp days and a 10 to 15 mph wind out of the south .
