Please y'all go catch everyone you can and clean everyone you catch. There are millions of them everywhere you go. Throw and A rig and you will get bit. I was out couple days ago and they were schooling at 3 in the afternoon.

This would work better with gps coordinates.

I'll be happy to catch a few. We looked for some yesterday at every point on the south side of the lake but didn't find a one! Where would we find a hundred or so?

This would work better with gps coordinates. I agree, if you want to eradicate the sand bass just post on the forum where they are and im sure theyll get cleaned out.

Working on a Lake Fork SandBass Tournament......Stay tuned Sweet! Would you mind adding me to your team if you have an open seat? I'm down to just my kayak and don't think I'd fare well without a boat.

I would but that would give away some of my best bass spots. All I can say is they are up shallow early in the morning chasing shad as well as they are sitting on just about every submerged bridge and road bed there is on fork.

I think Fork would be a good place to experiment with white bass. No size limit and no bag limit. The guys chasing ditch pickles would like it and we could see if size and bag limits really affect their population. I think the lake would remain full of whites but it would be interesting to see.
Can someone explain how the Feds count recreational Red Snapper catch?

Keith, You will enjoy fishing for the whites on Fork as the bass fishermen don't crowd you out once they know you are after a different species then they are. The local fishermen might even buy you a beer or two for eradicating a few 100 of them. I know Cameron will be thrilled. Bring plenty of friends because they are thick on Fork. Check into staying at Lake Fork Marina as Cameron will give you the latest updates on where the whites are located.

Will be at Fork and Tawakoni June 15-20. What areas are best for sand bass and we will help thin them out as much as we can during the hot part of the day...will be bass fishing early and late the day or two on Fork. Will be on Tawakoni the rest of the time...
