I'm looking to get a new rod to use while I'm frog fishing. I'm currently using a medium heavy Daiwa pole but I'm looking for something with a little more backbone to help keep the frog in the bass'a mouth. Any one have some suggestions?

I use the Todd Faircloth Triple Threat by Castaway. The tip is soft enough to walk a frog and plenty of back bone for big fish in heavy cover. I have boat flipped a couple 5-6 lb fish with it.

Go with a rod designed for frog fishing. 7'2 heavy at least with 65lb braid. That's a good start until you are comfortable with it.

I use a 7'3" Kistler Frog and Slop rod, Shimano Curado E 7:1 ratio.

7' heavy Denali Jadewood, Reese reel & braid if I'm in the pads. Thankfully I don't chunk frog all the time, that rig plain wears me out if throwin it all day but it'll pull a tree outta the mud. If I'm not in the pads I'll lean on about any other rod I got on the boat.

I'm looking for a new one myself, I think I am leaning to the Falcon Jason Christie Frog Rod.

I currently have a Ducket micro Guide Heavy 7' and it does good, but I don't know if it is strong enough to pull a good fish out of the thick lily pads. I have a Cara Amistad, but I loose accuracy with a rod that size, I'm trying to find a balance between the two and the JC frog rod seems to fit the bill, but I haven't pulled the trigger on it yet.

I have two Ducket Micro Guided MH's - I use them sometimes, but don't use them in the thick stuff

I use a Dobyns Champion Extreme 746 and a Shimano Chronarch Ci4+ and it works great.
You should be fine with a 7'-7'6" heavy as long as you aren't fishing super super heavy cover and a 7' medium heavy for open water frogs.
