I'm looking at buying a new rod for plastics. T rig and Carolina rig primarily. I've settled on either the Abu Veracity or a Duckett Mirco. I've always been an Abu guy, I was raised into using the reels and naturally inherited a love for there rods. I have a couple Vendettas from there first release, and a Veritas that I love for plastics. I bought a Duckett Ghost for square bills earlier this year and have loved the action out of there bottom of the line rods. So with all of this being said, what would you guys recommend? I am in no way bias to either brand, just have a comfort factor towards Abu.

Thank you all greatly in advance! thumb

if you like abu roll with it. go to bass pro or cabelas grab the rod you want then all the $200-$300 dollar rods and see if you notice a difference. thats what i do with the diawa rods and always spend about 1/2 of what a st croix or gloomis would cost.

I would go with one of three rods:
1) ReelTimeRods has a really nice t-rig and c-rig rod also good for jigs
2) also what J. Clay said the Denali Kovert series is a really impressive series
3) For C-Rig I use a kistler heavy fast tip I took from my dad! it has work great for me over the years

It all depends what action you like but those would be the three rods I would go check out

let us know what you end up picking and how you like it

I have 3 micro's and love all of them. I own several other brands but like my duckett's the best. Just ordered a new ghost and look forward to trying it out!
