bignate79549. If you have a boat the best place to start is the choc o blok ramp and it's a little steep but should be okey and when you get in the lake look left at the bridge and start in there for cat fish and some crappie. It's stumpy all in that area and you can go up the river some but not sure how far and it used to be good in there. Also at the ramp if you look right there's docks and they should be good in there and it's full of stumps also. Just got to pick your path. Looking towards the park where yo parh there's a path close to the shore. just take it easy. Now you can go to the damn and go in there it'll cost a couple bucks but theres docks all over there. Most people crappie fish right in there around that little cove where you put your boat in, but can't really tell you how good it is because most the time we're bass fishing. But the ground keeper lives in the trailer there at the ramp and im sure he could tell you where to go. He's a good guy. Hope this helps. Also if you look up leon lake under parks and wildlife it should give you a phone number to call the grounds keeper there. Good luck. Larry
