 Is it worth it to go to lake fork during the summer?

I'm taking a trip down to lake fork around June 10th I was just wondering if it's worth going to in the summer and what to use?

June 10th this year will not be truly a summer pattern on Fork.
Water is barely above 75 degrees and there are likely still some fish on beds because of the weird winter we had.
To answer you question, the best months on Fork are the summer months...

The Skeeter Owners Tournament is the weekend of June 13/14/15, so it will be getting crowded starting Thursday.. As for fishing in June, I think it's a great time.

This was my second day on the lake and I've already noticed that the fishing changes daily. I am very happy with my choice in coming to fork. I highly recommend!!!

The turn over in the fall is about the only bad time to fish Fork. The winter months can be slow but big fish can be caught during the winter months on jigs. The rest of the year can be really good fishing day and night

James Caldemeyer, or Mark Pack for day trips. Try night fishing with Richie White, it is a really good time.
