For a guy who's not from that neck of the woods, it would help to give the name of an open boat ramp and a location on the lake to go and look for them. I can bring some friends with me who I know love White Bass... if you fillet and marinade them right they taste pretty good deep fried.

Don Hampton at Lake Fork is holding a Sandbass Hook & Cook Tournament July 19th, Details are in his latest issue of "Fishermans guide" news. http://www.fishguidenews.com/ - We cleaned around 500 last year. I hate to say this, but I hope we clean more this year.

Fished the roadbeds at 515, 514, & 2946 last weekend and they were scattered.
