Taking my teenage daughter out on a guide trip so we'll be in the sun most of the day. What is the best way or "order" of putting on make up and sunscreen? Which goes over the other?

Babes like you & your daughter don't need makeup to begin with. Just sunscreen will do you fine.
Fishing, a man knows a serenity of soul and peace of mind that he finds in doing nothing else, and it makes no difference whether or not he catches anything. The mind of a true fisherman is not on petty subjects.

I'll tell her that and see how it goes over.

I put sunscreen them makeup. Then I will reapply sunscreen over my makeup later in the day if needed. Just make sure you get a sunscreen that is for the face. They are much less greasy than normal sunscreen.

they have spf30 makeup.... if you're really that concerned about how you look while fishing... I mean... the point of makeup is to make you attractive... and you're already fishing.... it's a bit overkill really. Gonna give men heart attacks.

You have to look good for that Big Fish picture.

Just a question here. What do you do if your wearing makeup and it starts pouring down rain? Sounds a little messy to me.

I know this is late, but I thought I should put my suggestion out there so others may benefit from it! I work (and play!) outside so I'm pretty picky about good sun protection and also looking good. I use Smashbox BB Cream, it's SPF is 35 and it has a bit of color to even out skin tone. It's perfect for a day on the lake! The fish don't care but I second the comment on picture reason. Although I find that sunglasses are a better tool than makeup for looking good in the fish picture when out on the water.
