Thanks for the kudos guys, but I do this from my heart. I had the pleasure of taking Mr. Gary (Ret ARMY) and his 12 year old son Josh out today. The wind did not cut us any slack, but they were able to put 10 fish in the boat. Today was just an awesome day even with that *&^$ wind. I really enjoy Father/son combo's just because it brings me back. To all those that served and have family members that served I Thank you !! Enjoy the day tomorrow and remember those who gave all!!

Wonderful gesture. As a Vet, I can think of no better show of appreciation.

Billy, as a retired vet and living in the Ft. Hood community, your gesture makes us ALL feel good that some Veteran or family member will enjoy a trip of a lifetime. Please report back about the experience!

I know most of you know what a great guy (and guide) Billy is. I was the fortunate retiree to take my son and go with Billy on Sunday. I was really hoping that he would have gotten booked with a wounded vet or someone that is "more deserving" of his generosity than me and my family. But he was open and I couldn't pass up the chance....and he is right, the wind made it really hard. But we had a great time and are very appreciative of the opportunity. I had already booked a trip with Billy in June for my wife and I and Sunday just validated that we are going to have a great trip then too. His rental place is awesome and fishing with Billy was like fishing with many of my other friends. My son is pretty shy and didn't say a lot, but he told my wife and I several times how much fun he had and what a "good dude" Billy is. On the way to the state park, we even got to rescue his neighbor's dog that has been missing for two weeks. My son, who wants to be a veterinarian, was thrilled to "be late" getting on the water. We can't thank Billy enough and hope to push a lot of business his way....I know I have found the only guide I will recommend at Falcon.

atta boy Billy .....
Been busting them on Fork, Athens & Houston County using the "Bassin Billy Tompkins" method.
Brian caught a real nice one at Noon today using the "slow down and feel the bottom" technique.
Hope to see you soon.
Nutman.
