Early years: Heddon Chugger and pre-rigged Crme worm with front spinner
Later years: Rattlin Chug Bug, Zoom curly tail worm, and Booyah hollow body frog

In memory of my childhood friend Dan Sterling, who taught me at an early age how to catch bream with a hand-line, and who unknowingly hooked me on fishing for life.

It's hard to pick a favorite, but a basstrix paddle tail swim bait, thread fin shad color, rigged with a weighted swimbait hook has produced 2 of the biggest bass I've ever caught. It's a very versatile and very easy bait to use. I always have one rigged up when I'm fishing.

SK Red Eye Shad. I can catch them year round on those guys in just about any condition. They are also cheap and easy to obtain.
