Whats the major difference in the mister twister fillet knives , piranha or regular

I haven't verified this but I was told the green and yellow mister twisters have plastic gears and the white and blue ones have metal gears.

Hope that is true, Paul. I am presently breaking in a new Piranha. The plastic gears seem to be the part that wears out first.

sounds like the green and yellow is the BCX model and blue and white is made in Sweden

Go to Walmart and get the B&D electric kitchen knife, sharper, cheaper, works for me.
