Got a shock when my bill came yesterday !! We've been there to eat numerous times and really enjoyed it and felt it reasonable considering it's on the lake. Went there same as normal, ordered my chicken wrap with side of pasta salad. Told they no longer carry the pasta salad which bummed me out and waiter said "ya that was one of our popular items but the new chef changed the menu", ok no big deal. Get the final bill and sticker shock, looked at menu and saw my chicken wrap is no longer $9 (price still on their online menu) but $17 for it. Same price for the boneless chicken wings and fish tacos, all $17 each. My fault for not looking closely but when you are used to going to a place you really don't expect the prices to change that drastically !!! I called ahead to see if teres seating(Saturday of Memorial day weekend)and to my surprise they said there was plenty, now I know why !! 4 of us total $125 plus tip !! Fajita chicken wrap, 2 orders fish tacos, 1 lb. boneless buffalo wings, 2 wines and a few beers for me. I know it's my fault for not scanning prices on menu but not something I'll have to worry about there again.

That place has gone through 100 different owners and names. It never lasts. I lived down the road from that place for 20 years. That's probably their annual summer time mark up. I've eaten there a few times as it has been passed around and it has always been over priced and overrated. Patsy's is about the only thing out that way still worth eating.

Couldn't blame the kid waiting on us, he did a good job and earned a tip. Forgot about the calamari for an appetizer, no telling what it cost.

The Cajun place has some pretty good grub, the Italian place is not bad either. Oh and the lady that has the BBQ trailer is good too. Loe's is bunk, always has been.

The best place is Wendy's (IMO)on the Oklahoma side of the lake.

About 1/2 way down HiPort Road on the left is Ankles Up a bar/caf that has about as good of pork loin dinner as you can get and is very reasonable priced, well worth it and about 5 minutes from HiPort ramp.

I ate at De Happy Cajun a couple of months ago and the food was awful. Did they recently change owners as well? It had some good food back in the day, not sure what happened.

I have not been on Texoma for several years. We used to really enjoy the restaurant at Soldier Creek Marina. Are they still in business?

Guys i am going to be needing recommendations on places to eat. I think I am going to be staying there for the 4th of July. Has anybody ever stayed at Tanglewood resort across from Highport? I need feedback on that place before I book. Thanks

I have stayed there a few times, they have a nice bar and restaurant with ok food at best, across the cove you have Loe's with the same deal. IMO you will not get great food on the lake, will have to travel to Sherman/Dennison.

Yea, Tanglewood is overrated and way over priced. You will not get that great of food at 99% of the places around the lake unless you go into Sherman or Denison.
