Fished yesterday evening and today with about 20 total up to 5 lbs. The deep bite for me was not that great. I spent a lot of time graphing and didn't find a whole lot. I didn't even see any groups of sandies. I must be looking in the wrong places. Lol. I caught most of my fish flipping in about 8 to 10 feet of water close to deeper water . I couldn't by an early bite on a frog. Has the deep bite been tough for everyone else the last day or so ?

it was today for members of the Lake Fork Anglers.

most of the fish that were caught were in 10' or less including our winner who had 2 overs on a DD22.

we paper our fish so slots and more than one over counts too.

My friend and I fished Fork all day yesterday and only caught 7 bass and a couple sandies. We never got on any consistent bite.

We got one on a buzzbait, two on frogs, one on a swimjig, and three on soft plastics. Tried some deep cranking but just caught those couple of sandies.

Fished it yesterday after work. We had 7, half came off shallow cranking and texas rigging, 2'-10'

it has had sooooooooo many tournaments and people fishing I am not surprised.

not to many other tournaments on Thursdays daytime however.

Slow for me Thursday, 5 fish all day, small, all super shallow on spinner bait, couldn't get a bite throwing deep cranks and swimbaits. Not much on the graph either. A friend paddling as well, did much better. Good to be on the lake after giving it a rest since late last fall.






The lake never disappoints with the stuff to see.


My day was a lot better than this beaver's.

Them Buzzards had a better day than I did as well. They gotta eat a little Beaver.

Just wonder if the beaver died of natural causes or if the buzzards jacked him. It looked like beav was looking skyward in shock.
