I went back to NM for easter to visit family. Was bored on the plane so I snapped this photo. You are looking at Santa Fe, Toas and beyond to Colorado. All the peaks you see in the photo are over 13k ft. This time of year there should be way more snow still. The haze you see in the distance is smoke from a fire near Toas. End of summer like conditions in April? Already fires? lol......gonna be a crazy fire season this year all over.

I went to durango in feb and the also had alot less snow then they should have. Still very good skiing but I was suprised because there was no snow in new mexico driving back.

I just came back from Farmington and Durango. Went turkey hunting in Durango in lots of snow. May have not been much for them, but it was a lot for me!

Durango is an awesome lil place. Has anyone taken a jeep up into the mountains out of Silverton? I thaught that was really cool. It's almost a little spooky in that old mining village.
