Robert and Krystle bought the place a couple of weeks ago and it will be back open this weekend. They are selling non ethanol fuel as well. Stop by and see them if you get a chance!

Is that the place on the east side boat ramp with pump on dock? Does it have like a small store type set up, ice snacks, we have a tournament there the 7th.

That's the place. I think they just have fuel this weekend but supposed to have everything next week. It's probably going to take a couple of weeks to get fully operational though.

That was my very first time being on the lake last week, and noticed the pump and store after the sun came up. They sure have their work cut out for them, I wish them the best of luck, and hoping the locals on the lake support them, don't know if there is anything else close. Will stop in and say HI when we have our tourney.

I'm from Quitman and can tell you every time someone new comes in and buys that place they do a dang good job of making food, and attracting customers. Then after 3 months or so it gets really sloppy and people just drive to town. The food would still be good, but the wait for something would be 45 mins to an hour. The last owners (don't know if they sold or still own it) were extremely nice and threw some neat events out there.
